Welcome to the Sandgate Bowls Club Website

Sandgate Bowls Club has been serving bowlers and the community in
the Sandgate District for over 100 years. We have three quality greens
and Clubhouse amenities designed to serve the wide ranging demands
of our members and guests.
Sandgate welcomes members from other bowling clubs and from the
community as a whole. Bowling is an activity that is enjoyed by young
and not so young alike, and the Club encourages everyone to come and
have a go. You can join us as a bowling or social member or as an
occasional or regular barefoot bowler.
Bowls can be enjoyed as a purely social pastime or as a highly
competitive sport both helping to develop long lasting friendships and a
healthy lifestyle. The Club is proud of its long tradition supporting its
local community.

Regular Bowls Days
Tuesday Afternoon: 11:30 am Men’s and Ladies Optional Pairs
Wednesday Morning: 8:30 am Ladies Play
Thursday Afternoon: 12:00 pm Men’s Pairs
Friday Afternoon: 5:00pm – Men’s and Ladies Scroungers (Summer)
Saturday Afternoon: 12:30pm Social and Competition
Barefoot: Most days as the mood dictates (subject to Green Availability)
